About the Role

Roseworthy Campus Farm, a commercial mixed dryland Farm Worker located 60km from Adelaide, supports the University of Adelaide’s teaching and research programs. We are looking for a dedicated Farmhand to join our professional team. This full-time role involves assisting with farm operations, maintenance, and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cropping operations, including cereals, oilseeds, legumes, pasture renovation, and fodder production
- Farm Worker care and maintenance for livestock
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks, such as fencing, water supply management, and property upkeep
- Support the implementation of sustainable farming practices and precision agriculture
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Farm Worker experience (dryland cropping knowledge preferred)
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry and Farm Worker operations
- Proficiency in operating farm machinery and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Required: Current driver’s licence (Class C – car, Class R – bike)
- Willingness to meet all Work Health & Safety (WH&S) requirements
- Preferred: ChemCert accreditation (or equivalent)
