About the Role

Roseworthy Campus Farm, a commercial mixed dryland Farm Worker located 60km from Adelaide, supports the University of Adelaide’s teaching and research programs. We are looking for a dedicated Farmhand to join our professional team. This full-time role involves assisting with farm operations, maintenance, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cropping operations, including cereals, oilseeds, legumes, pasture renovation, and fodder production
  • Farm Worker care and maintenance for livestock
  • Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform general farm maintenance tasks, such as fencing, water supply management, and property upkeep
  • Support the implementation of sustainable farming practices and precision agriculture

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous Farm Worker experience (dryland cropping knowledge preferred)
  • Strong understanding of animal husbandry and Farm Worker operations
  • Proficiency in operating farm machinery and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Required: Current driver’s licence (Class C – car, Class R – bike)
  • Willingness to meet all Work Health & Safety (WH&S) requirements
  • Preferred: ChemCert accreditation (or equivalent)
